Snæbum, situated 5 miles west of Hobro, is a small village with a village hall, a church and with

a lake as a centre.

A small curiosity: the village is split in two… in addition to Snæbum by the lake, there is, about ¾ of a mile away, another Snæbum by the village of Hannerup. This Snæbum, incidentally sports a very good butcher’s shop, with delicious home-made specialities.

For other shopping there is Hvilsom about 2½ miles away, with a grocer’s and a bank. In Klejtrup,

about 3 miles away, you will find a bank, several shops and a very good bakery.
